Featured Authors!

People who truly love literature enjoy all forms of writing and expression of thought. As such, I cannot have a website dedicated to writing (and thinking) without sharing the work of other authors. Therefore, I am introducing FEATURED AUTHORS, a new page to introduce new authors and new ideas. I am so privileged to introduce a wonderful author with a beautiful book about the value of encouragement. Please go to the new Featured Authors page and discover Eclectic Encouragement by Teresa Alley

We’re Back!

It’s been awhile since my last post. As we all know, these are crazy times. Aside from things like COVID, riots and elections, there have been some personal changes as well. Julie and I have both retired and living the life of leisure (kind of). This allows me to focus my energy on my writing and also on keeping the website current.

If you recall, we were waiting for an article from brother Phil for Literary Corner, but it never materialized. However, that’s how I would like to get back on track; getting Phil’s article posted. So Phil, how about an article?

Call for Articles!

In the next week or so a new article will be posted for Literary Corner by none other than my brother Phil. Whether that makes you excited to stick with my website or want to leave it for good is debatable, but in any case there will be something here shortly for your reading pleasure.

In addition to my articles posted every 6 weeks, I thought it would be good to have some personal insights from people on all the craziness going on today. Going back just a few weeks, who would have believed how much has happened? It’s tragic, and even horrifying, but there are bright spots as well when we see how so many people are going out of their way to bring some level of joy to the community. I am soliciting articles from any of you (or even anybody that you know who may not be following), that provides your own unique insights to this tumultuous time. Whether upbeat or critical, fearful or inspirational, I think it would be good for people to hear about how individuals like us are being affected. If anyone would like to submit an article, please let me know. And feel free to pass this request along to anyone you think may want to submit something. Thanks everyone!

Another Wonderful Signing!

Saturday’s book signing at Otter Lane Book Shop was very successful and a lot of fun. Thanks so much to Niecy Olson for hosting me, and thanks to all of you who came through and discussed my book with me, even if you didn’t buy one. I love being part of this community!

For anyone who has read, or will read, The Longest Walk or The Seduction of Paradise, please feel free to share your thoughts about the books on my website at http://www.kevin-j-ward.com . I appreciate any honest and constructive feedback, whether positive or negative.

Galentines Day Book Signing

Next book signing for The Longest Walk will be at Otter Lane Book Shop on Main St. Anoka during the annual Galentines Day event on Saturday, February 8. My friend Niecy Olson, owner of Otter Lane, has the book for sale for $12.00. Since this is a romance story, it is the perfect gift for Galentines Day (even a gift for yourself!). I will be in the store for the first hour to sign books, and then again from 12:00 – 3:00, but you can buy them all day long. Niecy has even decided to give a little surprise to the first few books sold! I will also have copies of The Seduction of Paradise available if anyone happens to be interested. Hope to see you all there!

Book Signing Success!

The book signing last Saturday for my new book The Longest Walk was a huge success and a lot of fun. Thanks to all who attended, and special thanks to my friends at Ambi Wine Bar for hosting this event.

It was nice to see that people are still interested in The Seduction of Paradise. A number of those books were purchased as well. Remember these books can be purchased online at all major bookstores, or on my website at http://www.kevin-j-ward.com . If purchased from my website, they will be signed (if you so desire). Also both of my books are now available at Otter Lane on Main Street in Anoka.

Stay tuned for the next book signing towards the end of February!
