Some of you may have seen a post or two that had a title but no content. You may be thinking that I don’t know how to post very well. Well, you are right, but I have now figured it out. I added a new page called Essays, which is a collection of thought provoking (hopefully) insights. Initially they will be from me, but I hope to add some writings from others as well. Who knows, maybe some of you. I Added first essay just a few days ago. Take a look. And feedback is welcome!

Just a quick note to let everyone know my new book, “The Longest Walk”, should be out before Christmas. It’s not long, only about 100 pages, but hopefully a good read. It’s possibly a good present for someone you care about (or maybe someone you hate). Either way, it will be available in December and I will let you know as soon as it is out. For now, here is a very brief excerpt from the book:
The crowd was nearly suffocating. Sean wasn’t sure if he was bothered more by the gentle pushing and shoving of the people or of the dreaded task he was about to undertake. He tried to convince himself this was not his fault, and in fact he was sure that it wasn’t. At the same time, he knew it wasn’t her fault either. It had to be somebody’s fault, didn’t it? Can you lose thirty years of a marriage without somebody being at fault?
He knew this day was coming for several weeks now. There was always a reason for putting off telling her, but in the back of his mind there was no doubt the only real reason was that he was a coward. He hadn’t planned on dealing with it this evening, but when he started back down the long marble hallway and saw her at the far end, looking almost like a stranger, he suddenly knew now was the time.
Hi All, just wanted to post an update of some exciting things coming up. First, my latest book “The Longest Walk” is now in for publishing. This is my first shot at a romance story, but those of you who know me know that I am a hopeless romantic at heart. This was a fun book to write, and I need to give a huge shout-out to my sister-in-law Justine Stephens. This is as much her work as it is mine since she reviewed every chapter along the way, provided great feedback, and most importantly helped me to ensure I was capturing the woman’s point of view.
I also have made great progress on my next mystery book. Mystery is clearly my genera of preference. This story will again take place in Minnesota, starting in Minneapolis and culminating in Alexandria. I hope people find it as exciting as “The Seduction of Paradise”.
Lastly (for now), I hope to be doing another book signing soon. As I stated in an earlier communication, I will be selling the original publication of “The Seduction of Paradise” at a great discount ($5.00 for softcover, $10.00 for hardcover), and I will also have the new updated publication available. Same story, just new look with a few minor upgrades. More on this will be coming shortly.
